After showing our Redang photos to my sis and kids, they all asked to be bring them there.
But due to our Hokkaido trip in Dec, we are trying to save. So told the kids will only be bring them there next year. But my 9thsis insisted of going cos she is only able to get off during that school holiday term as she’s working during the sch terms. By the next break moonsoon will be already set in and can’t go already. She also decided to sponsor for the twins, her God-sons as we will be cash tide if we are going to spend for this trip. (So Ossdon will be able to see lots of bikini Babes!)
As there will be 2-4 big occasions coming our way that need to give Red packets.

I had been running & calling around checking for our Japan tours over the last few weekends with my 10thsis and Hub at the same time confirming the group for the Redang Trip. My 8thsis’s family is also joining us, so at this point of time we have 10adults and 4kids for this Redang trip.
We finally booked and confirmed our 7 Days Hokkaido + 4 days extension in Tokyo trip on last Sunday. We have 9 adts & 3kids for this trip. Departing on 21 Dec and if extension confirm return on 31 Dec. Lucky me, 4 of my kids have sponsor to bring them and hub is trying to apply to be the tour leader to save cost (if able to approve). He asked me to take up the offer but I told him I rather don’t go then to be a TL since I had been there B4. And bringing the twins at the same time TL… I can’t if they are going to keep calling me, I may not able to do my best to concentrate to do my job well. I think n told him that instead he maybe a better choice as the twins will never cling on him.
My sis already started to get some winter wears for them including Timberland boots during her trip in the US. I on the other hand may have to search for cheaper alternative for Glen & Carine as their winter wear was able to pass to the twins but they’ll have to get their as they had already out grown them. Since my 10th sis is going up to Shanghai in Oct. She asked me want to go with her but my eye is as wide as a goldfish. She’s going there to get the twins winter stuffs so I may as well have some shopping list for her especially wool sweaters, long john, gloves n jackets etc.
With so many things to get but so little money… even though Hub just got a 12% pay rise but he’s not a printing money machine leh. So I told the twins, I will not be do a big celebration for them like Ivan Gor Gor kind but a mini one in school.
Ossdon is the 1stto protest. He wants to invite his friends to come to celebrate with him and have something similar like Ivan’s. He wants to give presents to share his bday. I told him that even the mini celebration in school, I will still prepare present for his friends and both will still have a cake each to blow the candles. But he’s kind of insists on having the party either at home or their 10yi mummy’s condo.
They had been counting down since attending Ivan’s party. They wanted games and Piñatas. The Pinatas I maybe going to DIY for the fun of it if time allow. One for hitting kind for the older kids and a pull one for the younger kids. Here are the links if you are interested.
I had been checking out on the buffet foods B4 the 2nd Redang trip. I was thinking having the high tea kind of buffet. Also DIY on the order like bite size on different kinds of
· kuehs,
· mini curry, durain, and cream puffs,
· Roti Jala with chicken curry,
· Vegetarian Bee Hoon,
· Vegetarian popian,
· Putu Mayam
· Dounuts
· Eggs tarts and the list still go on.
Some foods are eaten when I was young. But what I’m afraid is the no of people turning up. I can’t put my finger to the number yet cos my PIL will have the whole block coming down to the garden to celebrate with us. Just like their 1stBday. I have 3 caterers coming at different time and a last minutes BBQ set up cos there are guest still turning up after 9pm.
So at this point of time… I’m still thinking to do and not to do. I’ll try to make a decision by next month.
