Disney Princess Vanessa Hudgens is in the spotlight yet again. No, not for her movie Band Slam and not because of her super famous hunky boyfriend, Zac Efron. No for her naked picture scandal. For those of you reading this article and saying “this is old news” -it’s not. VHud is in the media spotlight yet again for her racy photos. It seems even more nude pictures of the actress/singer have been leaked on the internet. Who has these pictures? Who is leaking them to the media? Some might have you believe that it is the “High School Musical” star herself.
Is this all just a clever publicity ploy by Ms. Hudgens herself? Could it possibly be that Vanessa wants the pictures out? Of course Hudgens will deny these rumors.
Her lawyers are hard at work, yet again trying to keep the pictures from doing any further “damage.” They have been in contact with many celebrity sites and blogs including Perez Hilton. Lawyers want the pictures removed from the access of the public immediately, stating that Hudgens was only seventeen at the time the pictures were taken. But here’s the kicker. The first batch of pictures were leaked in 2007. These newly leaked pictures have been nicknamed the “Vanessa Hudgens scandal of 2009.” Apparently many are saying that maybe she isn’t the same age in both sets of pictures.
Vanessa Hudgens has a blossoming career. She is young, beautiful, and a talented actress and singer. She is dating one of Hollywood’s most sought after young stars and has movie roles lined up for the near future. Why she would want to cause herself and her family any more embarrassment over these photos. She didn’t leak these pictures. She has too much to lose. After the first set of photographs were leaked in 2007, she nearly lost her gig as Gabriella in “High School Musical 2.” She’s learned her lesson.

Hudgens, who was given the advice to shed her teen bubble gum image given to her through Disney and her “High School Musical” fame is set to star in the movie “Sucker Punch.” Later this year. In her new role she will be playing a young prostitute. If she’s trying to shed her goody goody image, that’s the way to do it. Through her roles, not through her scandals.
