Sony Canada has announced that its new line of Bravia XBR 10 LCD HDTVs which feature 1080p wireless transmission of HD signals is now available in Canada.

Additional features include 1920 x 1080p resolution, an edge-lit LED backlight system, Bravia Engine 3, four HDMI inputs and Sony’s 240Hz frame quadrupling technology.
The XBR10 models also feature an Ethernet connection allowing them to access Sony Internet Video content using an existing broadband network. The models are Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) compliant, so viewers can access digital photos, music, and video stored on a PC or other DLNA server.
Sony says the XBR10 models exceed Energy Star 3.0 guidelines for energy efficiency and use a ambient light sensor in order to adjust backlight intensity thereby helping to save energy.
