Colt McCoy proposed to his girlfriend Rachel Glandorf at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Monday night. He took her onto the field and asked for her hand via the stadium’s giant high definition scoreboard screen. She said, “Yes. ” Colt has a cool job. If most of us took our significant other to the workplace to propose, it would probably end with a stapler to the head. But that’s what happens when you propose in a cubicle.
There’s really not much SportsChat can add to this story. It goes without saying they are going to have damn good looking children that will be able to throw a variety of balls and objects great distances. In fact, SportsChat recommends they consider ‘Mustang’ as a name for any future son.
‘Mustang McCoy.’ It just feels right. A kid couldn’t be named ‘Mustang McCoy’ and not win at least one Super Bowl unless the fame of winning four straight high school champhionships before skipping college and going straight to the NFL goes to his head.
