Good-looking Women Lift Testosterone Levels in Young Men

A new research shows that, the presence of a young, attractive or good-looking female in a group of men caused their testosterone levels to hike and take greater amount of hazards.

The conclusions are scientifically-controlled proof of this phenomenon, which is known to most men. In popular customs, many movies portray scenes in which a young man attempts the most dangerous trick, in order to get the attention of a female peer.

Richard Ronay and William von Hippel of the University of Queensland asked young adult men to complete both easy and complex tricks on skateboards, first in front of a male and then in front of a young, attractive female. The results showed the level of risk which those men undertook while performing in front of the two genders.

The skateboarder’s testosterone levels were calculated after each trick. While performing, the skateboarders were found taking greater risk levels in the presence of the attractive female, even when they knew that there was a greater chance that they would collide. Testosterone levels were significantly higher in these men than in the men who were performing in the presence of another male, depicted the study.
