Hilary Duff To Become A Young Adult Author

Celebrity personalities are always bringing out books, whether they are tell-all books, autobiographies, children’s books or bodice rippers.

We recently reported how successful The Hills star, Lauren Conrad’s books have been but now it looks as though she’ll have a bit of competition.

Gossip Girl actress, Hilary Duff, has been commissioned to write a series of young adult novels for publishing house Simon & Schuster.

Her first novel, Elixir will feature the adventures of Clea Raymond, a photojournalist and will hit the shelves in October.

According to GossipCop, Hilary also wants to write a nonfiction book that covers the topic of children dealing with divorce, something she has written about in some of her pop songs.

Will you be picking up a copy of Hilary’s literary effort?
