With the Miss Teen USA pageant less than a month away, Idaho’s delegate is in the lead among pageant fans voting at the official site.
The non-binding vote by registered users of the site offers average rankings of contestants on a scale of 1 to 5.
Hosanna Noelle-Leilani Kabakoro, 18, of Twin Falls, Idaho is in the lead with an average score of 2.33 – which suggest fans are spending more time voting against contestants than for them.
Hosanna was born in Fiji to a royal family, according to a profile of her on Wikipedia. The family fled to the United States following a coup.
“In 2006 Kabakoro became the youngest person to be appointed as a United States Senate Intern,” according to Wikipedia.
The new Miss Teen USA will be crowned July 24 in the Bahamas.
The pageant will be webcast live on the sites of Miss Teen USA and Seventeen magazine.
